Dr. Arturo Soto-Nevarez is a clinical psychologist specializing in pediatric psychology and parent management training. He received his doctoral education in clinical psychology at DePaul University and clinical training in Chicago, building experience within community mental health agencies, within the school system, and collaborated with parents, teachers, and medical professionals. After graduation in 2021, Dr. Soto-Nevarez continued to serve the Chicagoland area through his postdoctoral fellowship and licensure. He has been trained extensively in the administration and interpretation of neuropsychological assessments, providing treatment to families with children on the autism spectrum, as well as assisting parents of young children with strengthening their parent-child relationship through evidence-based treatment. Dr. Soto-Nevarez has worked with children and families of diverse backgrounds within the Chicagoland area who have presented with behavioral, mood, and neurodevelopmental disorders. He will be offering comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and parent coaching to help strengthen parent-child relationships. In addition, Dr. Soto-Nevarez works collaboratively with teachers and providers to tailor an effective learning environment for children and adults.
